The Perfect Introduction to Partner Acro

Beginning Acro is a comprehensive guide that will take you through the first six months of Acro training. All you need is this book, a trusted friend or family member, and a safe space to practice. This guide makes for a wonderful gift and is perfect for anyone who is interested in circus, gymnastics, or sports and fitness in general. Partner Acro balance is a fun and engaging way to develop new skills that can be easily integrated into other disciplines

Acro Sheffield

For over a decade, Acro Sheffield have been running partner Acro Classes. Unfortunately, due to the 2020 lockdown, these classes had to come to a halt. However, during this time, a book was created called "Beginning Acro." This book is the result of numerous years of teaching experience and includes techniques that have been carefully chosen to provide a complete introduction to partner Acro. "Beginning Acro" was initially a handbook for teacher training courses and is a safer option compared to online Acro videos.

Very clear and helpful

This book is ideal for beginners, it covers many of the moves we had just learnt prior to lockdown. It was a very useful reminder of all the key steps with clear instructions and pictures of all of the stages. It also has guidance on spotting and progressions when working towards certain moves - very happy with it.
