Firetoys Slow Fade Multi-Coloured LED Glow Poi

My first set of poi after years of fidgety spinning random things around. Really love the weight of them and the finger hook and the string. Was a bit worried at first but after all they endured in the short amount of time I had them, this is quite solid! (no shock just fast rotation)

So, last summer I was doing a road trip out west, and started at Pictured Rock in the UP of Michigan. I get it in my head to do a 10 mile night hike by myself while on a gel substance. Let me tell you, Jack pine forest are already super creepy at night as it is, and I had forgotten my phone so no music or last minute puns outlining my hysterical death (not that there's signal out there anyways).

So ya. It was dark, I was having light issues, losing the trail, and I remember these amazing tools in my bag. Now, I love DnD, but I could never get into LARPing...this night being the exception, because I was one awesome battle mage, yielding my Flexing Shield of Meandering Colors, crossing the forbidden forest to speak to the Milkyway Gods over Lake Superior from the Great Arch.

They really helped me get through one of the most amazingly terrifying nights I've ever had. And pretty sure thorted more than one stalking attempt.

They're 25 bucks. Seriously....that's cheaper than a first aid kit ^_~

I'm new to poi spinning (8ish days) and wanted to try these after watching some beautiful YouTube performances. To me they are a really nice weight and that is allowing me to spin slower while learning and also not to hard for when you hit yourself. The slow fading LED colours are just an added bonus and create a visual reward on video. Also the staff at firetoys were excellent when i contacted them so thank you.

They're my first pair of poi (after socks) and I was super excited to see them glow around me, just I'm afraid I hit them one too many times against each other and now they don't turn on anymore... Not shocked as I'm a beginner and was expecting to break them sooner or later but man I just had them for a week or so :( I'll see with a new battery

I am very pleased with my poi and I will definitely order from firetoys again

Leashes weren't what was expecting, but I think that's more one me. I've turned them into a pair of sock poi, and love them.

I was so excited to get these in. I opened them right away and loved them....until I tried to turn them on. They do not turn on at all. Batteries are hard to take out as well. Hope they are just dead, but either way I'm disappointed.

Note from Firetoys: The batteries have little plastic dividers between them to prevent discharge in storage. The batteries need to be removed, and these little dividers removed, and then the batteries need to be reinserted. This information should be in the bag the poi come in. If this does not work, then email customer services. These poi are very simple and have little that can go wrong but we are here to help you should you need it.

I have one of the first sets of glow poi from yearssss ago, and these babies make the old ones look pathetic. They are so bright and the colours are marvellous. Make for really great photos and if you can get no street light at all, they are so much fun.

My nephew loved the Glow Poi's.

Found my new favourite hobby and absolutely love learning some new moves everyday! Seriously one of the coolest thing I ever bought!
